The docking studies uncovered that studied compounds interact with streptokinase and plasminogen via hydrogen bonding, pi-anion, pi?pi stacked interactions, and pi-sigma bonding type interactions. The results revealed that synthesized benzo[b]thiophene derivatives could be a potential source of therapeutic agents.
