General procedure: To a round-bottom flask equipped with a magnetic stirring bar were added 3-diazoindolin-2-imines 1 (0.1mmol), aryl aldehydes (2) (0.15mmol), BF3·OEt2 (0.1mmol), and ethyl acetate (1mL) under air atmosphere.
