After completion of the reaction, and extracted with methylene chloride, put MgSO4, and filtered.After removal of the solvent of the filtered organic layer, using column chromatography to give 7-(2-nitrophenyl)benzo[b]thiophene 7.38g (28.9mmol, yield: 82%).
